Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari — founders of Toiletpaper — have combined their creativity for the spring fashion issue of New York Magazine. The surrealistically composed images spotlight some of the most memorable and standout ready-to-wear and accessories recently seen on the runways, with each scene orchestrated as a whimsical and dreamlike vignette. One scenario pictures models cloaked under thick plastic sheets, surrounded by piero fornasetti pieces wearing furry fendi bags, while another’s simpler composition sees the infamous chanel shoe, with sock included, daintily hanging on a clothesline before a vast blue sky.
